Ruby Claddagh Ring

Rubies are one of my favorite gemstones. The rich red of ruby is so fitting in the heart shape cut. I think it is a striking combination. 

Ruby is rated as a 8 on Mohs scale of hardness. Claddagh rings are of course heirlooms that will speak to the sentiment of love loyalty and friendship for lifetimes. Therefore a hard long lasting gemstone like ruby is perfect in a claddagh ring.
