Just wanted to say sorry to any customers who experienced shipping delays over the Christmas 2020 period.
An Post appears to have put in place a new automated sorting facility in Dublin which could not cope at all with the high level of shipping.
Many parcels tracking numbers where never scanned leading to customers wondering where their parcels where.
Also the parcels where weighed incorrectly and An Post have been charging me twice the normal prices for shipping because of their error.
Hopefully I can resolve this with An Post and help them to remain my shipping partner in 2021.
For gold items I ship via FedEX. FedEX has resolved their call centre delays this year and delivered all our parcels with speed and efficiency.
Thankfully I am receiving reports that An Post parcels have arrived.
The workshop is already open and crafting new claddagh rings which will start to ship out again on the 28th of December.
There are very few delays reported now in the transit system.
