Irish Claddagh Poem - Lady by the lake.

Irish Claddagh Poem - Lady by the lake.

Lady by the lake by IJD.

By the lake she sits so fair,

Hair golden as evening air,

And in her hand, a Claddagh ring,

A symbol of her heart's true song.

She gazes at the water's flow,

And wonders if her love will know,

The depths of her affection pure,

And if they'll ever be secure.

The Claddagh ring she wears with pride,

Symbol of the love she cannot hide,

It represents her heart's desire,

A burning love no other can inspire.

She sits beside the lake so still,

And dreams of what love will fulfill,

And hopes the ring upon her hand,

Will lead her to her true love's land.
