These terms and conditions govern your use of the site and the purchase of goods and services from the site. You will also find information on orders and returns and your privacy, these shall be incorporated into these terms and conditions.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the site. By accessing the site and/or placing an order, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions and you consent to us using your information in accordance with our privacy policy. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the site. 

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase goods from the site.  If you are under 18, you may use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.  Your use of, and registration on, the site is void where prohibited.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We hope that you love your purchases. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, please notify us by email using the contact form @ http://www.irishjewelrydesign.com/community/contact

For hygiene reasons we cannot exchange or refund earrings, unless they are defective or faulty. Sale items may only be exchanged during the sale period with proof of purchase. Regrettably, pieces which are handmade to order or customized cannot be refunded unless they are defective or faulty. 

CONTRACT OF SALE

We must receive payment in whole for the price of the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. This is not an Order Acceptance from us. Our acceptance of your order takes place on the dispatch to you of the products ordered unless we notify you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled your order. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. Only adults (persons aged 18 and over) are entitled to enter into legally binding contracts and as a result are the only people entitled to transact through this site. Any other individuals who are unable to perform legally binding contracts are prohibited from ordering goods using this site. If you do not qualify do not use this site.

In exceptional circumstances, if we are not able to fulfill an order we have accepted, your credit card will be re-credited with the original price and we will notify you by email. In no circumstances will we be liable to you for any additional amounts.

These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by us on the site, which we may make from time to time. Proposed changes to the terms and conditions will be notified to you by e-mail or flagged for your attention when you log onto the site for a new session.  Your continued use of the site after such notification shall be taken as your full acceptance of such changes.  You will only own the goods you purchase once they have been successfully delivered and when we have received cleared payment for them in full.  Until that time we will retain title to the goods.  Goods supplied are not for resale.

You may only cancel your order if it has not already been processed for shipping.

We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any information on the site from time to time.  We will endeavour to ensure that all descriptions and illustrations of the items on the site or in our catalogue or otherwise provided to you by us are accurate but there may be slight variations due to print and publishing limitations.  We work to keep the site up to date but cannot guarantee that this site and its contents are completely free of technical errors, viruses, or anything else that may have a harmful effect on any technology.  We will endeavour to allow uninterrupted access to the site but access may be suspended, restricted or terminated at any time.  By using this site, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment you use in connection with this site.

You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

We cannot be held responsible for any delays once the goods have left us and are in possession of the postal service or courier.

Your use of this site and any contract between you and us for the sale of products shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland, and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Ireland. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions. If we fail to enforce a right under these terms and conditions, that failure will not prevent us from enforcing other rights, or the same type of right on a later occasion.

 Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us. Save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.

We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy completeness or suitability for any purpose of the information and related graphics published on our website. From time to time our site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.

SHIPPING  -  DELIVERY TIMES
We ship international orders via FedEx, we will provide you with a tracking number to track the progress of your parcel.
 Once payment has been received orders will be processed.

UK and Ireland - 5 working days
Europe - 8 working days
USA , Canada, Australia - 10 working days
Rest of the world -  15 working days.

It is your responsability to provide your correct delivery address and and be available to receive your item at this address. Please note we do not ship to PO BOXES.
Please note that orders may be subject to security checks, which can cause delays in the processing of orders. We may need to contact you to carry out these security checks – if we are unable to reach you using the contact details provided it will delay the dispatch of your order. We may need to contact you to carry out these security checks, so please provide us with the best method of contact at Checkout
Please note that any duty and taxes that may be levied in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.
RETURNS/ REFUND POLICY
We guarantte 100 % satisfaction of our products.
 If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason please contact us within 7 days of receiving your items. Items must be returned to us within 30 days.
Please notify us of your wish to return the goods using our contact form on the website.
You may return items to us if : 
a) You have not worn or damaged the jewellery;
b) The jewellery is in the same condition as it was when it was delivered;
c) You have contacted us within 7 days of receiving your goods to receive a ‘Returns Authorisation number’; and 
d) The item(s) are not “Made-to-Order” or customized including engravings which due to their unique nature, cannot be exchanged or returned unless there is a design/product flaw.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited from your credit card will be credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you, in the way detailed below, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be credited to you.
Returned items must be returned in the original condition and in the original box. It is recommended to return items using a track and trace service. We do not accept liability for returns lost in the post. Returned parcels must be clearly marked as a
" return" and customs value as " 0 " on any customs declaration.

Made to order and customized items including engraved items may only be return as a result of being deemed by us a faulty.
In order to return faulty items you must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number by emailing us using our website contact form, stating the nature of the fault. You then follow the standard returns process as detailed above.
  • Faulty items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to the customer damaged, or if there is a subsequent manufacturing fault within a period of 6 months after delivery. All items returned as faulty will be inspected, and any item displaying damage deemed to be a result of wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.
  • Where possible, items may be repaired on request but only where such items are deemed faulty and repairable. Repairs do not come with a guarantee.
A prompt refund of the price of the goods will be issued once all the information referred to above is received. The credit card used for the original purchase will be credited with the original price. Unfortunately we cannot refund the cost of registered shipping. Also, International customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU).
