This necklace is inspired by the design of the famous Tara Brooch. 

Handcrafted in sterling silver in our workshop in Dublin, Ireland.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The original Tara brooche was found in a wooden box on the beach near Bettystown, Ireland.

The popular name probably owes more to the reputation of Tara itself, which had been a sacred site since the Neolithic era and which was regarded as the royal seat of kings. The qualiity of the engraving and filigree work is remarkable.

The Tara Brooch  is the most significant celtic brooch and dates back to about 700 AD.

The Tara Brooch has been on display by the National Museum of Ireland since the 1870s.
